In the PHIVE project we aim to create a Virtual Centre of Excellence for using Virtual and Augmented reality to promote and preserve heritage, to use Virtual Time Travel demonstrations to provide frameworks for live exploration of the past, and to create an Exhibition System based on the International Image interoperability Framework enabling exploration of maps, timelines, virtual tours, objects, and landscapes.
